Thanks to the development of detailed procedures and the scope of duties and responsibilities in specific positions, each employee better understands his or her role in the company. This system also allows to increase the efficiency of operations, which is connected with the reduction of operating costs. Thanks to the improvement of the quality of products and services, customer satisfaction and, consequently, the company's revenues increase. It is also worth noting that the certification of the management system brings image benefits.
Certification and maintenance of the scheme
In order to obtain ISO 9001 certification, it is necessary to know the principles of the standard well and implement them effectively. To prepare yourself well for this, you can take part in ISO 9001 training, which helps you understand all the provisions and learn how to interpret them in practice. When the organisation's operation is already adapted to the principles of the quality management system, it is necessary to apply for a certification audit. After such an inspection, the company receives a report containing, among other things, descriptions of non-compliance. Corrective actions should be implemented in these areas. Once everything is in compliance with ISO 9001, the organization receives a certificate that is valid for 3 years. During this period, the system should be regularly audited, in particular through internal audits. The people who will carry them out should go to ISO 9001 training for internal auditors. Thanks to the systematic analysis of the system, it is not only easy to detect any shortcomings, but also to identify areas that are worth improving. In this way, the system can be continuously developed and the quality of the organisation can be improved.
